The design of the AuraLink jacket was intended to take the Y2k inspirations of the brands visuals and play with them, spanning a variety of different presentations of both modern and oldschool type faces. The idea behind this was partially utilitarian, with the goal of creating a visually appealing design, but partially thoughtful in the way it is representative to the variety of artists covered under the cohesive branding of the company. The layout takes inspiration from 90s club jackets, making a bold statement on the back with a smaller, more dialed in piece of branding upon the front.
This was also the first instance of the custom AuraLink tag being used on a piece of clothing. The tag was originally meant to feature the AuraLink star logo, but unfortunately, this had to be scrapped for manufacturing reasons related to the intricacies of the design.
